SUB: Annual General Meeting 2009-10

It has been decided to hold the AGM of our RWA on Sunday 26th April 2009 to discuss the following agenda points at 10 AM near the RWA office within our pocket premises.

1. Introduction of New RWA Governing Body members.
2. Status of FY 2008-09 Balance sheet.
3. Activities anticipated to be undertaken in FY 2009-10.
4. Increase of Yearly maintenance subscription from Rs.1000/- to Rs.1500/-.
5. Budget and anticipated expenditures for FY 2009-10.
6. Finalization of Pocket Name based on resident’s suggestion.
7. Increase of RWA Tenure from 1 yr to 2 yrs.
8. Any other issues with permission of Chair.

You are cordially invited to attend the meeting and suggest your own RWA governing body to take up issues for complete up-liftment of our residential area.

प्रिय अंतःवासियो,
गरमी का मौसम शुरू हो चुका है। जैसाकि पिछले कई सालों के अनुभव से हम जानते हैं, इस मौसम में पानी की परेशानी बढ़ जाती है। कई बार अपील के बावजूद आज भी नीचे लगी टंकियों से पानी लगातार बहता रहता है। बहुत से लोग बिना सोचे-समझे खाली फ्लैटों के कनेक्शन से पाइप लेकर अपनी टंकियों में जोड़ रखा है। नीचे के फ्लैटों में रहने वाले कई लोगों ने अपने बगीचे की सिंचाई के लिए पाइप लगा रखा है, जो लगातार खुला रहता है। इस तरह रोज हजारों लीटर पानी बेवजह बह कर बरबाद जाता है। सभी लोगों से हमारी अपील है कि पानी की समस्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए, जरूरत भर का पानी ही इस्तेमाल करें और देश की एक बड़ी समस्या को सुलझाने में हमारी मदद करें।

हमने अपने पॉकेट में पानी बचाने की मुहिम के लिए एक जल सेना बनाने का विचार किया है। इसमें सिर्फ पॉकेट के स्कूली बच्चे शामिल हो सकते हैं। आप सभी से अनुरोध है कि जल सेना में शामिल होने के लिए अपने बच्चों को अनुमति दें। यह बच्चों के लिए एक रचनात्मक काम होगा।
जल सेना की संक्षिप्त रूपरेखा यों है-

- हर ब्लॉक के बच्चे अपने आसपास की पानी की टंकियों पर नजर रखेंगे।
- अगर किसी टंकी से पानी बहता नजर आता है तो वे संबंधित व्यक्ति के पास जाकर निवेदन करेंगे कि वे पानी को बरबाद होने से रोकने का उपाय करें।
- छत के ऊपर लगी टंकियों में अगर अलार्म नहीं लगा है तो उसके लिए भी संबंधित व्यक्ति से निवेदन करेंगे।
- बगीचे या गमलों की सिचाई में कितना और किस तरह पानी का इस्तेमाल करना है, यह भी बच्चे लोगों को समझाएंगे।- यह काम रोज नहीं होगा। छुट्टी के समय, जब बच्चों के खेलने का समय होता है, तभी बच्चे यह वालंटरी सर्विस करेंगे।

जल सेना की सदस्यता और ट्रेनिंग के लिए रविवार, 19-0409 को सुबह 9-30 पर सभी बच्चे आरडब्ल्यूए कार्यालय पर उपस्थित हों। इसके लिए श्री सतीश शर्मा से संपर्क करें।

सूचना

पिछले कुछ दिनों में इस पॉकेट में दो-तीन कारों से स्टीरियो और एसी चोरी की घटनाएं हुई हैं। घटना को गंभीरता से लेते हुए आरडब्ल्यूए ने पुलिस थाने में रिपोर्ट दर्ज करा दी है। पुलिस ने समुचित कार्रवाई का भरोसा दिलाया है।
आप सभी निवासियों से निवेदन है कि सावधान रहें और अगर पॉकेट के भीतर या आसपास कोई संदिग्ध व्यक्ति नजर आता है तो उसकी सूचना तुरंत आरडब्ल्यूए या पुलिस को दें।
